A countywide mask mandate has been issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). CDPH is requiring masks to be worn in all indoor public settings, irrespective of vaccine status, until February 15, 2022. This requirement will be updated as CDPH continues to assess conditions on an ongoing basis. As such, Imperial Valley Mall will require all visitors and employees to wear a mask when they're in contact with people who aren't from their households in public and private indoor spaces.

As such, we have implemented a number of protective measures to keep our employees, retail partners, and community healthy:

Mall staff, retailers, vendors, and visitors are to continue to follow CDPH and CDC guidelines regarding masks and face coverings.

Increasing the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing all high-traffic common areas with an enhanced focus on all touch points, and placing hand sanitizer units throughout the property.

Additionally, we're utilizing OmniShield™ hospital-grade antimicrobial protection on common area tables, seats, doors and surfaces to disinfect and provide durable, long term protection that kills and inhibits the growth of bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms.

OmniShield™ is a safe, non-toxic, and EPA-registered product that helps keep surfaces sanitized longer, and has been approved by the EPA for use against COVID-19.

Encouraging everyone on the property to follow social distancing guidelines, and prohibiting large groups of people from congregating in the mall common area.
